What's The Difference Between Antibacterial, Alcohol, and Disinfectant Wipes?
Many people think that all wipes are equal and do the same thing... This is not true! There are four general categories of wipes, each with it's own function.
- Antibacterial Wipes: Great for hands & skin, no sting, and kills most germs.
- Alcohol Wipes Great for hands & skin, kills most germs and some viruses in as little as 15 seconds*
- Sanitizing Wipes: Used to sanitize surfaces to a safe level.
- Disinfectant Wipes: For cleaning all different types of hard surfaces.
Yes, we know this can be confusing! It's temping to reach for a disinfectant wipe (like Lysol or Clorox) to wipe your hands, but don't do it!! It's MUCH safer to use a product like our Germ Wipes™ that is specially formulated to be safe for your skin. There are many chemicals in disinfectant wipes that cannot be guaranteed to be safe and could cause allergic or other skin reactions and issues.
